Jake Vanada Announced As New Chaplain of Supercross and Motocross!

Jake Vanada formerly of Minnesota FCA MX has joined SXMX Outreach Ministries and as of June of 2016 became the Current Chaplain for the Supercross and Outdoors Motocross Series. Steve Hudson who started the ministry in 1996 and served in the motocross racing industry for 20 years transitioned out of the Chaplin role in May of 2016 and has guided Jake as he steps into his new role as Chaplain for the riders.

Jake has over 22 years of ministry experience serving as FCA Staff in the Minneapolis area.  Jake has help started FCA MX camps in Minnesota and has spoken at several FCA MX camps across the country. Jake has also served in Snocross ministry and served as Chaplain for the ISOC Snocross Series.

FCA MX spent the day with Jake at Muddy Creek this last summer during the Lucas Oil National Outdoor Series. To see his love for the sport and sharing the Gospel of Christ to other riders, mechanics and even fans was a great experience. His upbeat and real sermons with themes each week that the riders, team and track staff along with fans can relate to has riders of factory teams and privateers alike excited about welcoming Jake in his new role as Chaplain. Jake understands the importance of building relationships with the riders along their supporters and seems to enjoy every moment of the process.

When Jake is not spending his weekends at the track, you can find him at home in Minnesota with his lovely wife of 20 years Christy and their two teenage kids, Jackson and Abigail.

When Jake was asked to sum up his whole experience of his new role in one word that hot July day at Muddy Creek, he looked around with a smile on his face and said "Surreal". At FCA MX we know God has mighty plans for Jake on with his new role in this ministry and we will be praying for him and also praying for Steve "Chappy" Hudson as he moves forward onto the next adventure God has for him.
